We recommend following the below guidelines to help get the most out of your candle's life and to ensure you are taking the right steps in using our products safely in your homes
The first burn of your candle is the most important. We recommend allowing the wax to melt until it has reached the edge of the jar and created a pool. This will help to imprint the candle memory for consistent, even burns.
To keep your candle in the best shape, try to store it away from extreme heat as it can be sensitive to direct sunlight and heat sources. This will help protect it from discolouration and fading of scent.
We recommend using a snuffer or wick dipper to extinguish your flame and avoiding blowing out the flame when possible. This will help prevent your candle from smoking and wax spitting.
Trimming the wick of your candle if it becomes longer than 5mm is recommended to avoid smoking and promote gentle burning. You may also notice 'mushrooming' on your wick, regular trimming will prevent this.
Do not leave your candles unattended and placed away from draft, children and pets and always place candles on a heat-resistant base and set on a level stable surface.
This might be hard to do as our candles smell delicious, however try to keep your burning time to intervals of 3 hours at a time. This will prolong the life of the fragrances and your candle.
Hanging Diffuser Instructions:
*Most commonly people will hang the diffuser from the windscreen mirror of their car
Note: If you turn the diffuser upside down for too long it may start to run the fragrance through the rope. We recommend not turning too often to ensure the rope doesn't get too wet.
Reed Diffuser Instructions:
Note: You may wish to turn the reeds upside down after step 3 to smell the fragrance instantly.
We also recommend turning your reeds once a week, or as desired to freshen up the diffusing aroma.
Shop our full range of Reed Diffusers and Hanging Diffusers via the below button. Each of the products are available in some of our most popular fragrances.
If you would like a fragrance not listed in our diffuser range that is on our scent list, please leave a note on your order and we will do our best to accommodate.
You can re-use your candle jars once you have finished with them. Simply fill up your jar with hot water and let it soak. This will cause any leftover wax to melt allowing you to clean the jar.
Once cleaned re-purpose this around the home. It could be simply used as home decor, a jar to hold you make up brushes, a pot for plants or to fill with yummy treats.
